future

now ++

To further develop my Professional Identity and enable the realization of my vision, I have already started my position as Project Manager at EPHI, where my tasks are to conceptualize technical intra-logistics solutions and develop them with the team of Engineers at EPHI. The position ties together all themes of development of my Master. My goals as Project Manager are to center all solutions around wellbeing of their user, build confidence and expertise in project management and stakeholder communication, and develop my hard skills in 3D modeling and programming to play a hands-on role in developing the concepts.

Later, I would see myself moving away from the intra-logistics B2B context, where the main considerations are efficiency and money, and into a B2C context that enables more experience-driven design argumentation. Ultimately, I believe this will enable more creativity and bring me greater satisfaction. However, before I can be an impactful designer in any context, I believe I should grow my competence and experience. EPHI is a well-suited environment for this since it has much technical expertise amongst relatively few employees, enabling me to continue developing both broad and deep expertise. Another motivation for me to take this position is the close involvement in the operations of the company, helping me evaluate if becoming an entrepreneur would suit me.

Although the goodbye to Industrial Design (and being a student in general) is bittersweet, I am excited and curious about the new challenges coming my way.
